SLA Staffing Funding 2025

To support learners in their first years of schooling, all schools teaching the New Zealand Curriculum in Years 0-2 were able to apply for structured literacy support staffing from last year.

Over 900 schools have received confirmation of structured literacy support staffing for the 2025 school year which was based upon school equity needs, roll size and the number of applications made.

The list below provides the school name and education region of all 968 schools that were allocated structured literacy support staffing for 2025.
