New resources for services using Te Ara Māori
10 October
Five new, short videos are now available to help you engage with ngā aho o Te Ara Māori (the strands of Te Ara Māori). They provide inspirational kōrero from kaiako about what the strands mean, and what they might look like in practice.
You can find the new resources at the links below, for:
- Mana Atua i Te Ara Māori - Wellbeing in Te Ara Māori
- Mana Reo i Te Ara Māori - Communication in Te Ara Māori
- Mana Tangata i Te Ara Māori - Contribution in Te Ara Māori
- Mana Aotūroa i Te Ara Māori - Exploration in Te Ara Māori
- Mana Whenua i Te Ara Māori - Belonging in Te Ara Māori
Keep an eye out for new eLearn modules coming later this year as well, which are also there to help Puna Reo, Māori-medium, and bilingual settings implement Te Ara Māori. We’ll update you here – and in the Early Learning Bulletin – when those are available.
Those resources join the existing suite of supports to help you and your service choose and implement Te Ara Māori. You can find those here:
More information about the updated curriculum framework, and the three pathways of Te Whāriki, is available here:
